The Doorbell
The Doorbell (2019) is the story of Vikram, a successful manager at a large, multinational corporation. When Vikram meets Riya, a project manager at the same company, he can't help but fall in love with her. When Vikram is fired shortly after negotiating the biggest deal of his career, it sets in motion a series of events that leave a profound effect on him.
The Doorbell is our attempt to reflect a story of working-class Indians, who are responsible for the country's meteoric economic rise in the recent past. We seek to depict the side of India that goes beyond just reducing it to the poster child of third-world poverty.
